beachbuoy − 100% waterproof case from morfica

Proporta is pleased to introduce you to The BeachBuoy, a 100% waterproof case by Morfica. Perfect for those trips to the beach in the summer, it will protect your valuables from water, sand and sticky fingers. However, feel free to use it all year round, perhaps whilst you enjoy the English weather, fishing trips, sailing holidays or even whilst having fun in the snow.

The BeachBuoy from Morfica allows you to keep your valuables with you, even when you're in the water. It's 100% waterproof, using a simple (but really effective) grip seal system, allowing the BeachBuoy to keep your phone, camera, keys, iPod, cash or credit card safe and dry.

The BeachBuoy is guaranteed to be waterproof up to 5 metres/16 feet and has been tested and approved by the British Standards Institute - BSI (IP57 and IP58).

With the BeachBuoy case facing you (as shown in fig. 1):

• Place your device and/or valuables in the BeachBuoy case and pinch firmly along the full length of Grip Seal 1 - it should snap positively into place (see fig. 1).
• Pinch firmly along the full length of Grip Seal 2 located at the top of your BeachBuoy case (see fig. 2).
• Fold the top section of your BeachBuoy case over - you should no longer be able to see the www.morfica.com/beachbuoy text (see fig. 3).
• Fold over a second time - you should now see a GREEN line and soft Velcro strip - the warning text should now be fully hidden
  (see fig. 4.).
• Now waterproof your case using the Velcro Closure Tab to fasten the folds in place - press firmly along the full length of the Velcro to fasten securely (see fig. 5).

Warning: if you can see RED lines or warning text then your BeachBuoy case is not yet waterproof. Only when you follow the above steps in full is the BeachBuoy case waterproof.

If in doubt, please perform the Tissue Paper Test (below) before entrusting your mobile device or other valuables to your BeachBuoy case.

BeachBuoy Guarantee

Your BeachBuoy is guaranteed waterproof to 5 metres (16 feet) and is tested to IP57 and IP58 (as defined by the British Standards Institute).

However, despite strict Quality Assurance and individual testing, it is always possible that your BeachBuoy could have become damaged after leaving our factory.

For this reason, we ask you to please be sure to test the case using something of no value (for example some tissue paper) before using it to protect your phone, MP3 player or other mobile device. Please see below for a simple test. We will be very glad to receive your feedback.

Testing your BeachBuoy − The Tissue Paper Test

Like your mobile device (phone, MP3 player, digital camera...), tissue paper is ruined instantly when it gets wet. However, unlike your mobile device, tissue paper costs less than a penny to replace; this fact is the basis of the Tissue Paper Test.

Please be sure to carry out the Tissue Paper Test before entrusting your mobile device or other valuables to your BeachBuoy case. Please repeat the Tissue Paper test if you have any reason for concern (for example if your BeachBuoy has suffered any damage or been left unused for a long period of time).

1. Take a piece of totally dry tissue paper and place it inside your BeachBuoy.
2. Completely seal your BeachBuoy in the normal way (see instructions below).
3. Fully submerge the BeachBuoy in a bucket, sink or other water container.
4. Remove the BeachBuoy from the water and dry it then dry your hands.
5. Undo the case, remove the tissue paper and check that it is completely dry. If so, your BeachBuoy is ready for use.

If the tissue paper is not completely dry, fully dry the inside of the case and repeat steps 1-5 above, ensuring that you have fully dried the inside of your BeachBuoy and that you have properly sealed it.

Note: the BeachBuoy is designed to allow air to escape from the case but to prevent water from coming into the case; it is therefore not able to be used as a water container.

The BeachBuoy case is guaranteed against manufacturing defects for one year from the date of purchase.

We regret that, like any manufacturer, Morfica cannot guarantee the BeachBuoy against normal wear and tear or deliberate abuse.

In addition, Morfica regrets that it cannot accept responsibility for items placed within the BeachBuoy case. In the event of an agreed failure of the BeachBuoy, Morfica will replace the faulty BeachBuoy product only.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

If ever in doubt, please repeat the Tissue Paper Test (above) before entrusting your mobile device or other valuables to your BeachBuoy case.
